New drone attacks in Ukraine: At least seven civilians injured

At least seven civilians were injured during a nighttime attack by Russian drones in the eastern Ukrainian city of Dnipro, the local military administration reported.

A shop and residential buildings were damaged in the incident, writes rferl.org.

A few days earlier, a Russian attack damaged a high-rise residential building in Dnipro, killing one person and injuring 12 others.

Three people, including a child, were injured in a rocket attack in the Kiev region that damaged three houses and several vehicles, officials reported on June 30. Meanwhile, Russia's Defense Ministry reported that 36 Ukrainian drones were intercepted in more than six Russian regions overnight.

The ministry said defense forces shot down 15 drones over Kursk region, nine over Lipetsk region, four in Voronezh and Bryansk regions, and two each in Oryol and Belgorod regions.

Officials from all regions confirmed the incidents and said there were no casualties and only minor damage.

In the Lipetsk region, the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant reported minor damage in an attack that plant management called "nonsense."
