"We have already signed an agreement for three bridges, Sculeni-Sculeni, Cahul-Oancea, Leușeni-Albita. Ungheni bridge is to be built. The actual works according to the agreements must be done by the Romanian Government, including with resources from the Romanian budget and probably European funds. We work very well together, I don't know of any delays in our collaboration.

There are some procedures that need to be done such as studies, designs, tenders. Work is still underway on other bridges, on four others for which feasibility studies are being carried out and which we hope to soon sign agreements", said the Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development.

According to Andrei Spînu, the construction of bridges is one of the priorities of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development. According to the agreement signed by the authorities in Chisinau and Bucharest, the works on three cross-border bridges will be completed at the end of 2027.
