EUBAM donation: Modern equipment for the Customs Service
The Customs Service received technical assistance in the amount of 123,000 euros from EUBAM. The donation includes servers, smart batteries and printers to enhance the operational capabilities of the Customs Service.

We join the commitment to contribute to the solid foundation for our partners on their way to the European Union," emphasized Slawomir Pichor, Head of EUBAM.
The head of EUBAM presented the Moldovan Customs with a donation from a larger aid package aimed at supporting the customs and border authorities of both the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
Network equipment, including antennas and switching equipment, will assist customs inspectors in establishing local area networks for peripheral workstations. UPS power supplies and smart server batteries will ensure uninterrupted power in the event of power outages.
In addition, 15 multifunctional printers were provided, which will ensure office operability, and 25 iPads, which will allow Customs Posts to monitor traffic in control lanes in real time, optimizing border traffic and the activity of customs inspectors.
