Significant increase in Romania-Republic of Moldova roaming services
A significant increase in bilateral roaming services between the Republic of Moldova and Romania was recorded in 2023.
According to the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI), six million days of active roaming were registered, with an increase of 33% compared to the previous year.
Roaming internet consumption increased massively, by 155% for users from the Republic of Moldova and by 97% for those from Romania.
These developments reveal the positive impact of the Roaming Tariff Reduction Agreement signed between the two states in 2022.
