13 Moldovan policemen and carabinieri will ensure public order at the Olympic Games in Paris
A team of 13 Moldovan policemen and carabinieri will be delegated to the Olympic Games this summer in Paris. They, together with their French colleagues, will ensure public order during the competition. Also, Moldovan policemen will learn how to manage risk situations. The exchange of experience will be possible thanks to an administrative commitment of cooperation, which will be signed between the Republic of Moldova and France, said the Minister of Internal Affairs, Adrian Efros.
"This commitment represents a legal framework that will strengthen bilateral relations between both states in the field of security, by taking over, the best practices and tactics for maintaining public order and security, the exchange of experience and reaction in risk situations", declared Efros.
The 33rd edition of the Summer Olympics will take place from July 26 to August 11. The Republic of Moldova has 25 athletes qualified for the Paris Olympics.
