The Kingdom of Sweden will provide the Republic of Moldova with financial aid in the amount of 14.5 million euros, of which nine million euros are support for energy vulnerability, the ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the Kingdom of Sweden, Liliana Guțan, told Radio Moldova.
According to her, bilateral cooperation will boost, including on the parliamentary and sectoral level. "The full exploitation of the potential of bilateral cooperation will also come on the inter-parliamentary channel, we are waiting for more guests from Chisinau, it is about members of the Government, visits of businessmen, especially the green transition and new energy projects. We have launched high-level dialogues for the formalized inclusion of the Republic of Moldova in next year's declaration and the three seas initiative", said Liliana Guțan. Ambassador Liliana Guțan said that the Republic of Moldova, along with other countries from the Eastern Partnership, such as Ukraine and Georgia, is on the agenda of the Swedish presidency of the EU Council, which it holds during the first semester of this year.
