The authorities do not have information about the origin of the rocket debris that fell in the north of the Republic of Moldova
The Chisinau authorities do not have new information about the origin of the rocket debris that fell on the territory of the Republic of Moldova on Saturday, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița said on a TV8 show. The prime minister stated that with the attacks, anything can happen.

"When there are massive attacks from Russia on Ukraine, in particular, we have seen these missiles also target residential blocks, then anything can happen. And it doesn't matter what kind of missile, the important thing is that it is an aggressor and the country that defends itself. Of course, the Ministry of Defense and other competent institutions are investigating, taking photos, analyzing what kind of remains there are, and it takes time to find out an answer. We must not forget that these are missiles launched on the territory of Ukraine".
We remind you that on Saturday fragments of a rocket fell on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, in the Larga locality of the Briceni district. About 80 kilograms of explosive material was identified in the rocket debris, which was later safely detonated. The authorities in Chisinau strongly condemned the attacks on the neighboring country, stating that once again, the Republic of Moldova is suffering, and Russia's barbaric attacks show a lack of respect for the sovereignty of our country.
It is the 3rd case in which remnants of missiles from the bombing of Ukraine fall on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
