Nation bids farewell to fallen firefighter Denis Timohin
Firefighters and rescuers from across the country bid farewell to their colleague, Sergeant Denis Timohin of the Florești Rescuers and Firefighters Unit, who lost his life during a firefighting mission. He was laid to rest on Sunday, August 18.
The funeral ceremony was held in a solemn setting, where family, colleagues, and officials paid their final respects to Sergeant Timohin. The Minister of Internal Affairs, Adrian Efros, attended the funeral, offering condolences to the grieving family and colleagues. A minute of silence was observed in all subdivisions of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) in memory of the fallen firefighter.
Denis Timohin lost his life following a tragic incident on the evening of August 14.
