Search continues for man who drowned in Delacău

A 45-year-old man drowned in the Dniester River, Moldova. The incident occurred in the afternoon of August 19 in the village of Delacău, located in the Anenii Noi district.

This information was confirmed to Teleradio Moldova by Liliana Pușcașu, the press officer of the Inspectorate General for Emergency Situations (IGSU).

According to the information provided, the man's body has not yet been located. Rescuers are on site and continue their search efforts.

The case is under investigation to clarify all circumstances surrounding the incident.
