Energocom to source 88% of September power from Transnistria
In September, Energocom forecasts purchasing approximately 352,000 MWh for consumption on the right bank of the Dniester River.
Of this total, around 306,000 MWh (approximately 88%) will be sourced from the Moldovan Thermal Power Plant located in the Transnistrian region.
According to Energocom's forecast, about 21,503 MWh (or 6%) will be generated by renewable energy producers with whom Energocom holds purchase contracts.
Meanwhile, Energovom has reported that over 18,700 MW, representing more than 5%, will be acquired from the Romanian market OPCOM, particularly during peak hours. Additionally, the heating power plants in Chisinau and Balti are expected to generate less than 4,000 MWh, or 1%.
