Romania will build a water network for the Republic of Moldova
Aqueducts will be built in the Republic of Moldova to supply Romanian citizens with drinking water. The agreement regarding the regulation of the construction of interconnection aqueducts between the two countries was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
"The object of the agreement is the provision of resources for the supply of drinking water to the population of Ungheni, Nisporeni, Glodeni and Fălești districts. Investments on the territory of Romania and the territory of the Republic of Moldova up to the interconnection points, including the border crossing, will be carried out by the regional operator of water supply and sewerage in Romania. At the same time, investments are needed on the Moldovan side, which will be supported by the Government of the Republic of Moldova", said Andrei Spînu. Thanks to this interconnection, more than 15 thousand citizens of our country will have access to drinking water, says the Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Andrei Spânu.
