MFA issues travel warning: General strike to impact Israel
The Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has issued a travel warning for Israel due to a general strike scheduled for Monday across various sectors.
Consequently, operations at Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv will be disrupted.
According to the MFA, a series of strikes in different sectors is anticipated to commence across Israel at 08:00 local time on Monday, lasting for 24 hours.
These protest actions will also impact operations at Ben Gurion International Airport in the capital, Tel Aviv.
Romanian citizens affected by the strike are advised to check their flight schedules in advance and stay in contact with their airlines for updates on possible delays or cancellations. Additionally, they can visit the Ben Gurion International Airport website at https://www.iaa.gov.il/en/ for more information, as recommended by the MFA.
Romanian citizens seeking consular assistance may contact the Romanian Embassy in Tel Aviv at +972 3 529 0613, +972 3 5244644, or +972 3 524282. Calls will be redirected to the Contact and Support Center for Romanian Citizens Abroad (CCSCRS), where Call Center operators will be available around the clock.
