Ukrainian Foreign Minister resigns amid Cabinet reshuffle

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitro Kuleba has submitted his resignation, as announced today by the president of the Ukrainian parliament.

More than half of the Ukrainian Cabinet will be replaced, with resignations expected to occur on Wednesday and new appointments scheduled for Thursday.

David Arakhamia, head of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction, made this announcement on his Telegram channel, according to Ukrinform. He added that "the final list will be approved at today's faction meeting."

According to Ukrinform, the Supreme Rada of Ukraine has received resignation letters from Oleksandr Kamyshyn, Minister of Strategic Industries; Denys Maliuska, Minister of Justice; Ruslan Strileț, Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources; and Vitaliy Koval, head of the State Property Fund.

At a press conference on August 27, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the issue of ministries led by interim ministers would be resolved in the near future.
