RTEC announces new lanes dedicated to public transport
In Chisinau, new lanes dedicated to public transport will appear. In total, this year, 11 new lanes will appear where the markings will be applied. The information was unveiled by the Chisinau Electric Transport Authority (RTEC), quoting the General Directorate of Urban Mobility in the Capital.
Radio Moldova reminds its audience that currently in the municipality of Chisinau, there are seven streets with lanes dedicated to public transport.
The first appeared on Alexandr Pushkin Street in May 2020. In total, the network of dedicated lanes currently measures 11.3 kilometres, and will reach, according to local authorities' estimates, a total length of over 23,000 kilometres.
