A man dies in a car crash in Magdacesti
A man was fatally hit by a car while crossing the street irregularly. The case happened last night, around 21:20, in Magdacesti.
According to the Police, at the scene, the police officers of the Road Accident Documentary Section together with the criminal investigation officer from the Chisinau Police Department established that a 25-year-old driver hit a man who was crossing the street illegally. As a result of the impact, the man died on the spot, and the driver was transported to the hospital for medical care.
As a result of the breathalyzer test, the law enforcement officers found that the driver was not intoxicated.
The police are taking measures to establish the identity of the pedestrian.
A criminal trial was initiated on this case.
