Several French companies in the energy sector are interested in investing in the Republic of Moldova. The organization of a Business Forum in Chisinau is currently being negotiated, the ambassador of the Republic of Moldova in Paris, Corina Călugăru, told Radio Moldova.
According to her, the French Development Agency disbursed macro-financial assistance in the amount of 75 million euros in the state budget of the Republic of Moldova in 2022.
"15 million euros represented the assistance intended to finance the needs of the state budget, including for the health service, education or social transfers, and 60 million euros constituted the budgetary financing of public policies in the renewable energy sector and the railway sector. interest from French companies in the energy field in our country, agriculture. There are separate negotiations to see the ways we can bring them with accurate investments in our country", said ambassador Corina Călugăru.
Radio Moldova reminds its audience that the French Development Agency is present in the Republic of Moldova starting from February 2022. Technical cooperation with Moldelectrica and Calea Ferată from Moldova has already been launched.
