Five schools in the Republic of Moldova will be modernized with the support of Norway and UNDP Moldova

Norway and UNDP Moldova will modernize five of the 35 educational institutions that are part of the Model Schools Network in the Republic of Moldova, informs the Ministry of Education and Research. The investments will be made in the period 2024-2028.

Thus, the institutions will be renovated and equipped with modern school equipment. Thousands of children from district centers will benefit from better conditions and those who come to these institutions from neighboring towns.

The Model Schools Network is a project of the Ministry of Education and Research. The authorities have chosen 35 schools, which will be transformed to be a model both in terms of infrastructure and teaching methods.

The World Bank, the European Union, UNDP, UNICEF, the Government of Poland and other international organizations also support the initiative. Moreover, the project is supported by several private companies that have joined the initiative.
