There must be cooperation and solidarity between states to solve the multiple problems facing the international community. The statement was made by Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi during the Summit of the Future, held in New York. The Moldovan official emphasized the importance of digitization, but also the involvement of young people, both at the national and international levels.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova reaffirmed our country's commitment to boost the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.

The Future Summit brought together heads of state and government at UN headquarters in New York to address critical challenges and gaps in global governance. Topics such as climate change, energy crises and economic recessions, which collectively affect international peace, security and sustainable development, were discussed.

After the debates, UN member states adopted the Pact for the Future, the Digital Pact and the Declaration on Future Generations. "The Pact for the Future must serve as a guide for effective multilateral cooperation, to facilitate overcoming existing challenges and provide tangible benefits to citizens around the world," said Mihai Popșoi in his speech.
