Storm Ashley will not strongly affect the Republic of Moldova
Storm Ashley, which has already caused significant temperature drops and extreme weather phenomena in Europe, will not strongly affect the territory of the Republic of Moldova. Although regions in the south and north of the continent will record intense precipitation and strong winds, the impact in our country will be a drop in daytime temperatures by up to 10°C, within normal limits for this time of the year, informs the State Hydrometeorological Service.
According to the source, so far no official names of the cyclone have been confirmed in the weather reports.
We remind you that the cyclone, initially formed in the Mediterranean Sea, moved to the north and south of Europe, bringing heavy rains, strong winds and even snow to the Alpine regions. In countries like Romania, temperatures suddenly dropped by more than 12°C, and wind gusts exceeded 100 km/h.
