Deadline for AIPA subsidies for farmers
Today, September 30, is the last day when farmers, groups of agricultural producers and organizations in the agricultural field can submit their files to request subsidies to the Agency of Intervention and Payments for Agriculture (AIPA). According to the institution, eligible applicants include, in addition to farmers, associations of water users for irrigation, professional organizations in agriculture, organizations in the field of research and innovation, as well as educational institutions with an agro-industrial profile.
To benefit from financial support, the costs related to the investments must have been made starting from October 1 of the previous year. AIPA informs that the annual subsidy ceiling does not exceed 1.5 million lei per beneficiary, except irrigation water user associations, which can access subsidies of up to 3 million lei.
For 2024, the Government of the Republic of Moldova has allocated 1.6 billion lei from the National Fund for the Development of Agriculture and the Rural Environment to subsidize farmers and to support the development of the rural environment.
