Gymnasium in Ratuș commune, Telenești district, will have a new roof
The educational institution from Ratuș will receive financial resources through the European Village Program 2024, to renovate the old roof.
The gymnasium in the Ratuș commune was built 38 years ago, and has had the same roof since 1986. From a technical point of view, it is in a satisfactory condition, says the director of the kindergarten, Victoria Fanari . Annually, the roof is examined, but the condition is continuously deteriorating, says Victoria Fanari.
"I worked on several technical projects for thermal insulation of the building, installation of photovoltaic panels, lighting and roof repair. We only got funding for the latter. The roof needs repair, in the summer I worked with the workers and covered some holes. If we don't intervene, we could face unpleasant situations in the future."
The construction of a roof will solve the problem of humidity and will ensure optimal conditions for students. This is what the head of the household, Marco Popovici, is talking about, the man who constantly monitors both the condition of the blocks on the inside and the outside.
"When it rains, we have problems, because the slate sheets are old. They were changed only in one block, and the rest date back to the construction of the gymnasium. When it rains, we check the water does not reach the classrooms."
As many as 144 students study at the Gymnasium in Ratus village, Telenești district. Children from 4 other villages, which are part of the commune, come to study in this gymnasium.
