International experts: Russia could attack Ukraine from Bryansk, Kursk and Voronezh
Russia could attack Ukraine in the near future from the direction of Bryansk, Kursk and Voronezh, and from there move to the south, international experts claim. According to them, the strength of resistance and the victory of Ukraine is in the hands of the West.
Russia could soon attack Ukraine from the direction of Bryansk, Kursk, and Voronezh, and from there the Russian army would move southward, west of Kharkov, along the Vorskla River, a tributary of the Dnieper. According to this scenario, the target of the Russians will be the cities of Poltava and Dnipro, thus they will try to concentrate their forces in this direction with those who are now fighting in the east, in the area of Bakhmut and Soledar, stated in an interview for the BBC, the Polish general Waldemar Skrzypczak. He also says that the Belarusian leadership will only distract the Ukrainians.
The general noted that Russia has a reserve of 1.2 million soldiers, and 300 thousand are in the process of training and will soon be ready for battle. According to him, in this situation, the key to Ukraine's Victory is in the hands of the West.
Romanian expert Sorin Ioniță also told Radio Moldova that in February Russia could launch a major offensive in Ukraine. He stated that NATO forces are also strengthening their positions on the eastern flank, and Romania's endowment with military research equipment speaks of new dangers.
"It is important that NATO's eastern flank is strengthened with allied forces coming to stay here. Recently, some planes have also moved to Romania, the ones that observe from high altitude, spy on the battlefield, American planes", said Sorin Ioniță.
We remind that previously several Western states, including the United States, said that they will send heavy military equipment such as tanks, anti-missile systems, armored cars to Ukraine in the near future.
