Prime Minister of Romania Marcel Ciolacu pays an official visit to the Republic of Moldova

The Prime Minister of Romania Marcel Ciolacu pays a working visit to the Republic of Moldova on Friday, October 4. According to the Chisinau Executive, the official has scheduled meetings with his counterpart Dorin Recean, President Maia Sandu, and Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu.

"The agenda of the visit is centered on the deepening of the bilateral strategic partnership for the European integration of the Republic of Moldova and the strengthening of the Moldovan-Romanian commercial-economic ties", announces the quoted source.

The Chisinau government states that Prime Minister Dorin Recean will welcome his counterpart from Bucharest with military honors at the Government House. Also, the prime ministers of both states will have a bilateral meeting, as well as an extended meeting of the delegations.

The official delegation led by Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu will also include the Deputy Prime Minister of Romania, Marian Neacșu, the Minister of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, Ștefan-Radu Oprea, as well as the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Romania, Florin Barbu.

Prime Ministers Dorin Recean and Marcel Ciolacu will hold press statements, and later, the officials will participate in the event of donating school minibuses from the Government of Romania, which will take place in front of the Executive.

We remind you that this will be the second official visit of the Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu to the Republic of Moldova. His first visit was in June 2023, immediately after he assumed the position of head of the Government.
