A border police officer and a customs inspector will stand trial for forgery
A border policewoman and a customs inspector will stand trial for the fraudulent legalization of a car registered in Poland. According to PCCOCS, in November 2021, the two entered fake data into border and customs systems.
According to the investigation, the car was allegedly driven, according to the documents, by a woman from Romania, who was later determined not even to be in the Republic of Moldova at that time, but she received treatment at home.
The data from the driver's license used and those from the passport did not correspond to hers, and the car would have re-entered our country just one minute after the supposed exit to Ukraine.
If they are found guilty, they risk up to 5 years in prison or a fine of 92,500 lei. PCCOCS prosecutors continue their investigations to identify possible accomplices and other criminal elements related to this case.
