Ukraine needs more weapons and tanks to face Russian aggression, and the Kremlin must lose the war, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said at the Allies of Ukraine meeting in Rammstein. The US announces a new military aid package for Ukraine worth 2.5 billion dollars.

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius is expected to come under heavy pressure at the Rammstein meeting to give in to the allies’ demand to deliver Leopard tanks to Ukraine. The Pentagon announced another $2.5 billion military aid package for Ukraine. The package does not include tanks, instead the US said it would send 90 Stryker combat vehicles and another 59 Bradley fighting vehicles to Ukraine, in addition to hundreds of thousands of rounds of ammunition, announced the US Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin. France, Germany and the United Kingdom have donated air defense systems to Ukraine, including a Patriot battery system from Germany. The Netherlands has announced that it is donating Patriot missiles and launchers, says US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, reports The Guardian.
