CEC accredited observers and interpreters, confirmed journalists and authorized an opinion poll
During the meeting on Wednesday, October 9, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) accredited observers and interpreters, confirmed journalists and authorized the conduct of an opinion poll on the preferences of voters during the electoral period of the constitutional republican referendum and the elections for the position of President of the Republic Moldova from October 20, 2024.
Thus, a person from the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Moldova was accredited as an international observer. 7 people from the European Network of Election Monitoring Organizations (ENEMO) were confirmed as interpreters.
Also, the CEC confirmed 10 journalists from the Public Association "NORD-MEDIA" Reporters Association for the coverage and monitoring of the presidential elections and the republican constitutional referendum.
The CEC authorized the conduct of an opinion poll on voter preferences by Î.M. "C.B.S.-RESEARCH" S.R.L. between October 9-16, 2024 on a sample of 1000 respondents through the phone interview method.
