Chisinau requests smooth conduct of the elections in the Security Zone
Chisinau called on all participants in the work of the Joint Control Commission (CUC) and the Joint Military Command of the Joint Peacekeeping Forces to prevent any situation that could hinder the smooth conduct of the October 20 elections in the Security Zone. The Delegation of Chisinau emphasized the need to ensure a fair electoral process.
The authorities decided to organize 30 polling stations for the presidential elections and the republican constitutional referendum on October 20, for citizens with the right to vote from the localities on the left of the Nistru.
Chisinau announced today that public order in the localities where the 30 polling stations will be opened will be ensured by the territorial subdivisions of the General Police Inspectorate, located in the Security Zone.
