Romanian senators on a visit to Chisinau

A delegation of the Commission for Foreign Policy of the Romanian Senate will pay a visit to Chisinau between October 13-15. It will be led by the President of the Commission, Senator Titus Corlățean. The delegation will also include the Vice President of the Commission, Ion Marcel Vela, and its members - Cristian Bordei, Ion Prioteasa and Alfred-Laurentiu-Antonio Mihai.

The Romanian senators planned meetings with the Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, the president of the Foreign Policy and European Integration Commission, Ina Coșeru, and the deputy prime minister, Mihail Popșoi.

The discussions will focus on the progress made by the Republic of Moldova in the European path, as well as on the opportunities for cooperation with Romania in order to adjust the national legislation with the provisions of the EU and the progress in the process of negotiations with the European Union.
