In a message, the deputy prime minister emphasized the importance of this approach in the context of national security and stability.

"This important step contributes to strengthening resilience and combating malignant influence in the Republic of Moldova," reads the message.

The High Representative of the EU for foreign affairs and security policy, Josep Borrell, underlined the firm support of the European Union for the sovereignty and integrity of our country.

"The Republic of Moldova is facing massive direct attempts by Russia to destabilize the country, as well as challenges generated by Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine. This is a direct threat to a sovereign country, to its democratic life, to its path to the European Union. The EU will continue to provide full support to the legitimate aspirations of the Moldovan people. Today's listings are yet another contribution to Moldova's resilience," Josep Borell concluded.
