LIVE Government meets in session. Eight draft decisions, on the agenda

Over 3,000 doctors, nurses and pharmacists who commute daily between home and work will receive help to cover their transport costs. It is about those who live outside the city or village where they work and do not have a home there. A decision in this sense is to be approved today by the Government.

The expenses for the compensation of the transport of the medical staff will be covered from the budgets of the public medical and sanitary institutions where they work. The institutions will receive special funds to manage these payments, and the total cost estimate amounts to more than 12 million lei. Eligible medical personnel will be able to apply for compensation, and the money will be allocated monthly, depending on the distance and the actual costs of transportation.

Eight draft government decisions are included on the agenda of the Government meeting. Among them is the project on the amendment of the Regulation on the examination procedure for obtaining the right to drive vehicles, the issuance and validity of the driving license and on the approval of the Methodology on the identification of hydromorphological changes, monitoring and evaluation of water bodies.

Also, the Government will give opinions on the draft laws regarding the freedom of establishment of service providers and the freedom to provide services, for the amendment of the Insolvency Law and regarding the ratification of the Loan Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development to implement the Project "Sustainable transition through energy efficiency in Moldova (STEEM)".
