Prime Minister Dorin Recean urges citizens to vote on October 20: "It's very important"

On October 20, the citizens of the Republic of Moldova will participate in the most important democratic exercise, claims Prime Minister Dorin Recean. The Prime Minister urged citizens to go to the polling stations on Sunday and vote in the presidential and constitutional referendum. At the start of today's meeting of the Executive, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the two polls.

"Let's all vote on October 20. This is the most important exercise in a democracy. Each of us must go to vote, and encourage everyone else. Let's go to the polls, request two ballot papers each - one for the referendum, one for the presidential one, and let's vote. It is very important to participate in this democratic exercise".

On October 20, citizens who vote will receive two ballot papers each: one for the presidential elections and one for the constitutional referendum, where they will have to choose one of the voting options YES or NO, answering the question: "Do you support amending the Constitution with a view to the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union?".
