A delegation from the Republic of Moldova is participating in the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture in Berlin
The 15th edition of the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture is taking place today in Berlin. The event brings together agricultural decision-makers from all continents. The Republic of Moldova is represented by a delegation led by the Minister of Agriculture Vladimir Bolea.
The ministers present their national positions and jointly identify solutions to alleviate the increase in the prices of food, goods, fertilizers and agricultural inputs, according to a press release from the relevant ministry in Chisinau. In parallel, according to the quoted source, the officials will have "intensive discussions on the global response to the current crises that have worrying consequences on food security and nutrition".
At the same time, the participants will agree on concrete actions for all interested parties, with the aim of increasing food security and nutrition, improving the efficiency and profitability of the agricultural sector, sustainable management of natural resources, combating climate change and protecting biodiversity.
