In Kyiv, people bid farewell to Interior Minister Denis Monastîrski and other ministry employees who died in a helicopter crash in Brovari. Also today, the little girl Milana and her mother Elena, who also died following the crash of the aircraft on the grounds of the kindergarten, where the two were, were buried.
In the morning, near the office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a farewell ceremony was held for Denis Monastîrski and his colleagues.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his wife, Olena Zelenska, were also present at the funeral. The two, dressed in mourning clothes, paid their last respects to the deceased.
In Brovari, Elena and her daughter, Milana, were buried, who were in the territory of the kindergarten at the time of the helicopter crash.
We remind you that on January 18, in Brovari, Kyiv region, the helicopter of the State Emergency Service with nine people on board crashed near a kindergarten and some residential buildings. The Ukrainian Minister of the Interior, Denis Monastîrski, was moving towards the front line. As a result of the helicopter crash, at least 15 people died and more than 20 were injured, including children.
