"e-Dossier", approved by the Executive: Criminal and contravention cases will be managed electronically
All criminal and contravention cases will be available on a digital platform, which will facilitate the exchange of information between authorities and automate legal and administrative processes. The Cabinet approved a draft that provides for the implementation of the “e-Dossier". According to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Adrian Efros, the processing time of files will be reduced, and manual activities will be replaced by the use of modern technologies.
"In order to raise the level of quality and to simplify activities, it is necessary to create a unified control system that will exclude the flow of documents drawn up on paper. The government opts for establishing a centralized electronic platform aimed at digitizing and automating the processes related to the management of criminal and contravention cases.
Through the implementation of the "e-File" it will be possible to follow the execution of the applied decisions, the statistics of crimes and road accidents and other relevant information for criminal investigation bodies, investigative agencies and authorities in charge with the examination of cases. Also, the system will offer the possibility of accessing all information in real time, and will increase the degree of transparency in the case management process.
