Ballot papers for the second round of presidential elections are printed

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has started printing ballot papers for the second round of the November 3 presidential election, intended for polling stations abroad. Thus, 839,200 ballot papers will be printed, of which 768,850 - in Romanian, 69,850 - in Russian and 500 in Gagauz.

The price of a ballot paper is 0.35 lei, and the total value of the circulation is about 291 thousand lei.

The ballot papers are printed on opaque (matte) paper of steel blue color, with a width of 14 cm and a length of 12 cm.

The most ballot papers will be printed for Italy – over 241,000 ballots, Germany – 135,000 ballots and France – 94,200 ballots.

The fewest ballot papers will be printed for Japan – 300 ballot papers, China – 400 ballot papers, and Latvia and the United Arab Emirates – 500 ballot papers each.

"e-Dossier", approved by the Executive: Criminal and contravention cases will be managed electronically

All criminal and contravention cases will be available on a digital platform, which will facilitate the exchange of information between authorities and automate legal and administrative processes. The Cabinet approved a draft that provides for the implementation of the “e-Dossier". According to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Adrian Efros, the processing time of files will be reduced, and manual activities will be replaced by the use of modern technologies.

Dorin Recean denounces attempts of electoral fraud and calls for mobilization for the second round: "They can't commit fraud as much as we can vote"

The vote cast by the citizens of the Republic of Moldova in the elections on October 20 reflects the desire of the majority of people to continue on the European path, despite attempts at fraud and electoral propaganda. This statement was made by Prime Minister Dorin Recean at the beginning of the Government meeting on October 23.
