Voter certificates invalid for second round on November 3

Certificates for the right to vote issued for the elections on October 20 are not valid for the second round of the presidential election scheduled for November 3.

In this regard, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has announced that voters who will not be in their place of residence on November 3 must request new certificates. These new certificates will enable voters to cast their ballots at any other polling station within the country, using the supplementary electoral list.

The certificate for the right to vote is issued by the electoral office of the polling station to which the voter is assigned based on their domicile or valid residence, up to and including November 2.

This certificate is issued upon presentation of an identity document that verifies the voter's residence within the area of the respective polling station.

The CEC has specified that during the first round of the presidential elections, the electoral offices of the polling stations issued approximately 36,740 certificates for the right to vote.
