Police drew up more than 340 other minutes in voter fraud cases
The police drew up 341 reports for passive electoral corruption, 262 reports have already been sent for examination and the adoption of legal decisions to the National Anticorruption Center.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, people who cooperate with the investigation and provide information will be exempt from paying fines, according to the law.
Next, the police take action to document the people who accepted money in exchange for votes, but also those who influenced the processes to corrupt the voters. Citizens are encouraged to be vigilant and report any attempted electoral corruption case to ensure a fair and transparent election.
We remind you that on Friday, October 25, law enforcement officers raided several regions of the country, including Chisinau. The searches happened within the framework of the criminal case opened for electoral corruption and illegal financing of political parties committed by persons in the interest of an organized criminal group.
