Igor Grosu: "The Republic of Moldova ceased to attend CIS meetings"

The Republic of Moldova practically stopped its activity in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and does not participate in the meetings of the presidents of the parliaments, the meetings of the presidents of the countries or the prime ministers. The information was unveiled by the President of the Parliament, Igor Grosu, in an interview for the Romanian press.

According to him, the state authorities are evaluating all the treaties signed by the Republic of Moldova with the member states or on the CIS platform, and later a decision will be made regarding the presence of our country in this organisation.

"As long as there is this unjust war against our Ukrainian neighbours, our presence there is not right and we will not be there," concluded Igor Grosu.
