Kids get creative at Chisinau pumpkin painting party
Dozens of Chisinau kids traded screens for brushes this fall, transforming pumpkins into colourful masterpieces at a lively workshop.
Little hands smeared vibrant hues across plump pumpkins, turning them into grinning jack-o'-lanterns, spooky creatures, and even a stylish fox.
"I'm painting mine black and giving it tons of eyes!" one young artist declared. Another proudly displayed their creation: "It's pink with dark pink, white, black, yellow, and purple! It says Adelia - she's my friend!" One child planned a spooky surprise for their mom, while another budding artist even painted a sly fox, perhaps hoping to outsmart the neighbourhood squirrels.
Parents praised the event for fostering creativity and offering a healthy alternative to screen time. "It's an interesting workshop," one parent shared. "They are really involved, and it develops creativity."
"Autumn is so beautiful here, we had to celebrate with the kids!" said organiser Nicoleta Mârzac, delighted by the turnout. With more attendees than expected, the workshop proved a resounding success.
With paint-splattered smiles and pumpkins ready to display, the workshop proved that sometimes, the simplest activities spark the most creativity and joy.
