First Moldovans to vote are from Japan: "A vote from afar, a hope for the Republic of Moldova"

The first citizens, who voted, was a group of 11 Moldovans from Japan, at the polling station opened in the Embassy of our country in Tokyo. At the exit from the polls, they urged Moldovan citizens from all over the world to vote.

“We respectfully urge you to come out and cast your vote at any polling station. We are happy that we are the first to do this, it would be good if all Moldovans get used to the feeling of being the first in something. Let's get out and vote!"

On the fourth Saturday of November, Ukraine commemorates the victims of the Holodomor of 1932-1933, a tragic event that marked the history of Ukraine, and in 1946-1947, the history of Bessarabia. This year, the commemoration is held under the theme "Light a candle for the victims of the Holodomor. In the fight for Ukraine, support the soldiers." A commemoration was also held in Chisinau, where participants spoke about one of the worst national catastrophes - the organized famine - which claimed millions of lives.
