The foreign ministers of the EU member countries met at the first council in 2023

The Foreign Ministers of the European Union states meet today in Brussels. European officials have on the agenda in-depth discussions regarding Russia's aggression against Ukraine, with the participation by video conference of the Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Dmitro Kuleba, as well as regarding the developments in the Sahel and the coastal states of West Africa, reports Agerpres.

European officials will also address developments in Iran, Montenegro, Afghanistan and Venezuela, as well as the launch of the EU mission in Armenia. The mission will have the mandate to observe and report on the situation along the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, with the aim of normalising Armenia-Azerbaijan relations through confidence-building measures.
