The pre-vetting commission announced the results of the evaluation of four candidates for the CSM’s membership
The judge from Ungheni, Vasile Șchiopu, and the judge from Criuleni, Sergiu Caraman, correspond to the criteria of financial and ethical integrity, and thus, promote the evaluation. Regarding the judge from Străseni, Sergiu Osoianu, and the judge from Orhei, Ecaterina Buzu, the Pre-vetting Commission decided that they did not support the evaluation.
Radio Moldova reminds its audience that until now, five candidates for positions in the SCM, from among the 28 career judges entered in the competition, have passed the Commission's evaluation in terms of integrity, 12 have been disqualified by not passing the evaluation and can no longer participate in the competition, and 11 magistrates are waiting for the decisions of the Commission.
Judges, who do not agree with the evaluation results, can appeal to the Supreme Court of Justice, within 5 days after receiving the result.
