Bogdan Aurescu pleads for a coordinated approach of the European Union regarding the peace plan proposed by Zelenski
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, Bogdan Aurescu, pleaded, at this year's first meeting of foreign ministers from the 27 member states of the European Union, for a coordinated approach regarding the peace formula proposed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski in the perspective the EU-Ukraine summit that will take place at the beginning of February, in Kyiv.
According to the head of diplomacy from Bucharest, "the next EU-Ukraine summit will be an opportunity to reaffirm firm support for the process of reforms necessary for Ukraine's path to the EU, and Romania will continue to support the authorities in Kyiv".
Bogdan Aurescu indicated that the financial support granted will be materialized in the future, including through the organization of a second trilateral meeting Romania - Ukraine - Republic of Moldova next month, focused on the topic of energy.
We remind you that the European Union approved a military aid granted to Ukraine in the amount of 500 million euros.
