PSRM will go with its own candidate for the position of mayor of Chisinau
The Socialist Party of the Republic of Moldova (PSRM) will nominate its own candidate for the position of mayor of Chisinau. This was announced by the executive secretary of the formation, Vlad Batrîncea, during a show on TV8.
The Vice President of the Parliament mentioned that in these local elections, the socialists will not support the current mayor of Chisinau, Ion Ceban. The deputy saidd that for now PSRM has not nominated its candidates for the seat of mayor of Chisinau. At the end of December 2022, the PSRM expelled six people from its ranks. Among them are deputy Gaik Vartanean and several Chisinau municipal councilors. We remind you that, according to the new electoral code, the general local elections will take place on the last Sunday of October or the first Sunday of November.
