The European Commission announces the increase of macro-financial assistance for the Republic of Moldova by up to 145 million euros. According to the President of the Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, the new financial support will support the economy and energy security of the Republic of Moldova.
"We stand in solidarity with Moldova as the shock waves of Russia's brutal war continue to affect the country. Today we propose to supplement the macro-financial assistance for Moldova with 145 million euros. This will greatly support the country's economy and energy security," European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen wrote on Twitter.
