Donate blood in Chișinău this December – key dates & details
In December, voluntary blood donation events will be held in the municipality of Chișinău.
Blood donation points will be established within the sectoral city halls and public primary healthcare facilities in the capital, in partnership with the National Blood Transfusion Center.
According to the Chișinău City Hall, in the Botanica sector, donors are expected at Family Doctors Center No. 3, and on December 11 at the Sângera Health Center. Additionally, in the Buiucani sector, interested individuals can visit Family Doctors Center No. 5 on December 19, and in the Ciocana sector, on December 17 at the Ciocana City Hall.
At all mentioned locations, donations can be made between 09:00 and 14:00.
Volunteer donors will receive social packages, including a certificate confirming their blood donation, which grants them two paid days off from work, one of which is on the donation day.
Annually, 72,000 blood donations are required in the Republic of Moldova. The database of the National Blood Transfusion Center includes 150 regular donors.
