Langly platform enhances English lessons in Moldova schools
Langly, an educational platform, will be used in English lessons in some schools across the Republic of Moldova.
The Ministry of Education and Research states that 200 teachers from across the country will use this platform to teach English to fifth- and sixth-grade students, providing a modern learning tool for around 5,000 pupils.
Teacher training will be conducted over the next four weeks, and students will start studying English using the new methods in the second semester.
“Proficiency in the English language is crucial for the Republic of Moldova, providing our students with the opportunity to connect globally, travel, work, and engage with people from different countries. It also boosts their competitiveness, both in education and with respect to future job opportunities,” said Minister Dan Perciun.
Teachers participating in the project will benefit from specialized training and mentorship sessions throughout the program. This support is essential for the successful integration of new technologies into the educational process and for creating captivating learning experiences for students.
“At Langly, we recognize the importance of digitalization in education and are proud to contribute to a comprehensive program that has received unprecedented support from the Ministry of Education and Research, USAID, Sweden, and the United Kingdom through the Future Technologies Project,” said Vitalii Petrosyan, founder and director of Langly.
This initiative is part of the Ministry of Education and Research's program to modernize education in the Republic of Moldova, supported by Langly Oxford English and the Future Technologies Project, carried out by the National Center for Digital Innovations in Education, known as “Classroom of the Future.”
