Foreign Minister Mihai Popsoi leaves for the USA. Agenda of the visit

Foreign Minister Mihai Popsoi will pay a working visit to Washington and Raleigh, North Carolina, from December 2 to 9. According to the agenda, in Washington, the head of diplomacy from Chisinau will meet with senators and congressmen, with USAID Administrator Samantha Power, as well as with officials from the State Department.

In Raleigh, Mihai Popsoi will hold talks with the Secretary of State of North Carolina, Elaine F. Marshall, Governor Roy Cooper, as well as with representatives of the General Assembly of this state.

It is worth mentioning that this year, the Republic of Moldova and North Carolina mark 25 years since the establishment of the cooperation partnership.

In Washington and Raleigh, North Carolina, Minister Mihai Popsoi will have meetings with Moldovan citizens living in the USA.

The Social Democratic Party ranked first, following the parliamentary elections in Romania, shows the exit-poll, conducted by CURS. According to the questionnaires conducted at the exit of the ballot boxes, PSD scored 26%, for the Chamber of Deputies, and 26.1% in the Senate.
