VOX // Moldovans with Romanian citizenship, present at the polls: they voted for a European and prosperous Romania
Moldovan citizens with Romanian citizenship went to the polling stations opened in the Republic of Moldova today to vote for the next composition of the Parliament in Bucharest. People say they voted for peace, democracy and a better future for both countries.
Three polling stations were opened inside the "Spiru Haret" Lyceum in Chisinau, as there were a lot of people. Voters say they came to vote for a better future.
"We voted for things to be good both in Romania and in Moldova. We voted for good people to take care of the country's destiny".
"We expect things to be better for Moldova and Romania and to benefit from this vote".
"Let there be a Government that knows what it wants and does everything for the good of Romania".
"We voted for a European, peaceful, prosperous Romania and may God help us to unite with our mother country".
The two polling stations inside the Romanian Consulate were also crowded. Voters told us that the parliamentary elections in Romania also play an important role for the Republic of Moldova.
"For democracy, for Romania. Let us be united, let us live well in peace”.
“For prosperity. Let it be closer to the people, let it be closer to justice and let it be much more democratic for all”.
“I voted for Europe, for a decent life”.
As many as 59 polling stations were opened for the parliamentary elections of Romania on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. Of these, 16 polling stations were opened in Chisinau.
