The security situation in the region, the energy crisis, the fight against propaganda, joint projects and bilateral economic cooperation, were the main topics discussed by the Parliament Speaker, Igor Grosu, with the Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, Tomasz Grodzki, on an official visit to Chisinau, together with a group of Polish senators.
The officials also discussed the consequences of the war in Ukraine, with both the Republic of Moldova and Poland being directly affected by Russia's missile attacks. Igor Grosu mentioned that Poland remains a reliable partner of the Republic of Moldova, with which we want to develop a good collaboration in the future. He also said that the Chisinau authorities aimed to increase the export potential on the Polish market with Moldovan fruits, vegetables and wines". At the same time, the Parliament Speaker expressed his gratitude for the political support within the European institutions and the support of our country's European path.
